Welcome to the Roadwater Players:
The Roadwater Players is a long established amateur dramatics
society, based in the village of Roadwater, West Somerset. The village runs along a river valley on the north
east boundary of the Exmoor National Park, at the foot of the picturesque Brendon Hills. The players are
renowned for their productions of both well known and original scripts in the close confines of their very
small stage in the Village Hall.
This site is here to give the reader an insight into the
activities of an amateur dramatics group which over the years has entertained the local people, provided much
satisfaction to its members and won many awards within the Somerset Fellowship of Drama.
