-
Committee Member - Vice Chairman with responsibility for Website construction and maintenance and online
sales.
Ben made his acting debut in Roadwater way back in 1991, when he played the detective in the murder mystery
'Suddenly at Home' by Francis Durbridge. He then went on to play several policemen, but worried about being
typecast he ventured into more challenging roles in both Panto and Plays. In 2007 Ben was finally persuaded to
direct a play, and after much deliberation opted for the very funny script by Ray Cooney, entitled 'It Runs in the
Family'. Whilst not being renowned for his serious acting, or his ability to learn lines, Ben has played many parts
in Roadwater Productions ranging from Dames to Tennis Players, and Captain Hooks to Country Bumpkins.
Ben has responsibility for the Players internet presence, which has in the last 12 months become a much more
reliable source for news and information regarding the Players. Currently Ben is Vice Chairman, having served on
the Committee off and on for many years.
