Committee member and Village Hall Trust representative
In 1991 Jackie was roped into the Players, through desperation on their part, to play the part of Captain Jack
Dauntless in Paul Reeks' 'Miss Muffet'. This was shortly followed up with the part of the 'tart with a heart' in
Peter Gordons' 'Out of Focus'. She then had a break from the Players for no less then 17 years to recover, and
finally answered her calling in 2009 when she was asked to play 'Aladdin'. Having restoked the fire of amateur
dramatics, Jackie has now become a firm fixture in the Players having performed in two more plays and another
Panto, but that said, she feels her directorial debut may be some years off, as that requires responsibility and
organisational skills, which Jackie claims she is very short of! We shall see!
